Permission standard
Maximailist is intended for email that recipients requested or reasonably expect from a direct real-estate relationship. Senders must have consent or another lawful basis before emailing a contact.
- Allowed sources include website forms, open house signups, direct inquiries, existing client relationships, and direct requests for property or market updates.
- Senders must maintain the source of consent where available.
- Cold outreach and unsolicited bulk email are not allowed.
Prohibited list sources
Maximailist must not be used with lists that are purchased, rented, scraped, harvested, guessed, generated, taken from public records, exported from MLS data without consent, or obtained from third parties without direct recipient permission.
Required email content
- Marketing emails must identify the sender and the business or brokerage behind the message.
- Marketing emails must include a working unsubscribe link or preference link.
- Marketing emails must include required contact information, including a physical mailing address when required by law.
- Subject lines, sender names, and preview text must not be misleading.
Unsubscribes, bounces, and complaints
Maximailist suppresses recipients from future marketing sends when they unsubscribe, hard bounce, or generate a complaint. Senders must not reimport or resend to suppressed recipients unless a lawful and documented reason exists.
Sending may be paused or restricted when bounce rates, complaint rates, unsubscribe behavior, or abuse reports create deliverability risk.
Applicable laws
Senders are responsible for complying with laws that apply to their email activity, including CASL, CAN-SPAM, privacy laws, real-estate advertising rules, and brokerage requirements where applicable.
If you receive unwanted email sent through Maximailist, forward the message with full headers to [email protected]. We review abuse reports and may suspend or restrict sending where appropriate.
